Mandarin Oriental, Macau has appointed Samson Woo as Director of sales and Marketing. Mr. Woo has more than 20 years of hospitality and experience in sales and marketing in the region. Immediately Asia Pacific and China before joining Mandarin Oriental, Macau, Mr. Woo was Director, travel Travel Trade Sales Hong Kong's Disneyland Resort for over three years, where he was responsible for all sales and marketing activities, as well as MICE activities for the theme park and its two hotels. Mr. Woo previously worked for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group for seven years as Regional Director of business development, China in Shanghai and before that, as Director of sales in The Excelsior, Hong Kong. Mr. Woo received the Best Award individual from Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 2005. We are pleased that Samson has re-joined Mandarin Oriental, said Martin Schnider, Director General, Mandarin Oriental Macau. Samson's extensive experience in marketing management and hospitality sales, as well as his knowledge of the brand, means that he is able to drive our sales efforts in China and the region.
