Turkish Airlines takes delivery of A330-300 and A330-200F
[HD video below] Turkish Airlines has taken delivery of its first Airbus A330-300 and A330-200 Freighter first. The aircraft, both equipped with Rolls-Royce engines, will support Turkish Airlines ambitious growth plans in both passenger and cargo markets. The A330-300, seats 28 passengers in business class and 261 in economics, will be used on the routes of medium and long range from the hub airline s in Istanbul. Is the first of ten type ordered Turkish Airlines in 2009. The A330-200F will be used by Turkish Cargo on long-range routes from Shanghai and Hong Kong and to expand the Turkish Cargo network. Is the first of two A330-200 Freighter aircraft joining existing airlines all Airbus fleet of four A310s. The Airbus is delighted to add two additional variants A330 family to our fleet, said Dr. Temel Kotil, CEO of Turkish Airlines. The benefits we get from the aircraft's flexibility and commonality with our existing fleet will provide a solid basis for our continuing growth. The A330-300 has a range of up to 5,650 nm/10,500 km with a full passenger load. The A330-200F is capable of carrying 64 tonnes over 4, 000nm/7, 400 km or 70 tonnes on 3, 5, 200nm/900km.
